PRETTY SOFT FOR FRANK

When Frank Picconi, acquitted of murdering Henry Werner, the Issaquah rancher, left the county jail Tuesday, where he has been held as a witness again Henry Paulano, charged with perjury in connection with the Werner case, $100.40 jingled in his pockets. The sum was given him as witness fees at the rate of $1 per day. The perjury charged against Paulano was dismissed because Joseph Kaufman, important witness, has dropped from sight.
