If you don't set up the Permit web search in Copilot policy, web search is readily available to users by default in both Microsoft 365 copilot client portal app and Copilot Chat, unless you establish the Permit the use of additional optional linked experiences in Workplace plan to Handicapped.

Copilot Conversation is currently pinned by default in the navigation bar of the Microsoft 365 Copilot app, Teams, and Outlook for most users who are qualified for Copilot Chat throughout the internet, mobile, and desktop computer.

If you formerly chose 'Do not pin Copilot to the navigation bar' in the Microsoft 365 admin center and likewise unattended the 'Enable users to be asked whether they want to pin it' option, your setting setup is 'Do not pin' and your customers still won't have Copilot pinned in their navigation bar.

To help enhance the high quality of actions, Copilot Chat can use internet search queries sent out to the Bing search service to ground actions in the current information from the web. Copilot comes with a CRM, notification center, powerful approval controls, and vital applications for messaging, payment, file-sharing, agreements, and types.
