If you do not set up the Enable internet search in Copilot policy, web search is offered to customers by default in both Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Chat, unless you set the Enable the use of added optional linked experiences in Office plan to Disabled.

Copilot Conversation is currently pinned by default in the navigation bar of the Microsoft 365 Copilot application, Groups, and Outlook for most users that are qualified for Copilot Conversation throughout the web, mobile, and desktop computer.

Admins can also alter the pinning settings of Copilot Conversation for users in Microsoft Teams with the Teams admin facility: Appoint an application configuration plan with copilot client portal app Chat in the pinned apps to customers with an Entra account.
