The home of Mr. Charles Reuter where he was shot and killed in 1912.

View from the street, Mrs. Reuter climbed out this 2nd story window to call for help when her husband was shot, and saw the killer run out of the front door, cross the yard (the small fence was not there) and head north (to the left, looking at the house).

Upstairs landing. Stairs are through the narrow french doors next to the bathroom. To the right is the room that Mrs. Reuter was sleeping in, which overlooks the street. To the left is the room that Mr. Reuter was killed in.

The upstairs bedroom where Mr. Reuter was killed. His body would be found on the floor at the entrance to the room, in front of the closet on the left.

The windows overlooking the street that Mrs. Reuter climbed out of in order to call for help. It was front these windows that she saw the killer run out of the house and across the front yard, and run north.
