Biography[edit]
Clementina Othelia Mather Hayes was the neice of Phoebe Wade and first cousin to Mary Cecilia Rogers. She was also the sister Caroline Ursula Mather, aka Mrs. Downing. They were the daughters of Lay Mather and Carolina Wade. Carolina Wade was the sister of Phoebe and Lay was the brother of Capt. Ezra Mather, Phoebe's first husband.
